Condado Tacos
About
This independent taqueria draws from the depth of Mexican regional cooking, moving beyond standard cantina fare to explore the complexity of coastal seafood preparations, mole traditions, and Oaxacan techniques that demand real skill and time. The mezcal program reflects a serious approach to spirits beyond margaritas, suggesting owners who understand that Mexican food culture extends far beyond the border. In a market where chain Mexican restaurants dominate, this operation prioritizes the kind of family-style, scratch-cooking approach that defines fondas across Mexico—the places locals actually eat.
