Tacos los Plebes
About
This neighborhood taqueria operates with the casual efficiency of a family-run operation, turning out handmade tortillas and regional Mexican cooking that reflects the owner's roots rather than tourist expectations. The menu spans beyond standard Tex-Mex—expect seasonal preparations, fresh seafood preparations, and the kind of mole that takes hours to build—executed with the confidence of someone cooking the food they grew up eating. It's the type of place where regulars know what's good on any given day, and first-timers quickly understand why.
